interventional pain tracT

The WAPMU Interventional Pain Track focuses on advancing the knowledge and practical application of innovative interventional pain procedures for the management of acute and chronic pain. The program emphasizes appropriate patient selection, evidence-based techniques, current data, and ethical integration of interventional therapies into clinical practice. Using a multimodal format, the track will include expert-led lectures, interactive discussions, and cadaveric training to provide a balanced, hands-on educational experience that supports both technical skill development and real-world clinical implementation.

Fellows Registration

WAPMU provides the opportunity for Fellows to register for all WAPMU courses at a substantial discount. We will only accept 24 Fellow Registrations- MUST BE IN A FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM- Or Accepted into a Fellowship Program in 2025- We will need to Verify your Fellowship program after registration to attend.

Objectives

An in-depth training with both live didactic presentations and in-person cadaveric training. Expert faculty from around the country will train on Headache and Migraine Interventions, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Ultrasound Guided Interventions, Kyphoplasty, Targeted Drug Delivery, Spinal Cord Stimulation, RFA of the spine and joints, LSS, Cervical Dystonia and Chronic Migraine, Minimally Invasive Spine Interventions, Musculoskeletal pathology and Arthroscopy, MIS Lumbar Decompression for contained herniations/ annular tears. Discussion topics to include patient selection, surgical considerations, evidence and patient outcomes.
