Objectives

An in-depth training with both didactic presentations and personalized small group workshop as well as cadaveric training. Expert Faculty from around the country will train on Common Procedures/Interventions, Radiology Interpretation, Non-Opioid Treatments for Neuropathic Pain, Cervical Dystonia and Chronic Migraine, Physical exams, Pharmacological Management of Chronic Pain, Opioid Risk Mitigation Strategies/Management of Opioid-Related Side Effects, Collaborative Pain Management in Chronic Pain: Integrative Medicine, Psychology, Endocrinology, Rehab Medicine/PT/OT, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Coding and Billing, Virtual Reality for Chronic Pain: Distraction, Meditation, Mindfulness Strategies, Non-Pharmacological Modalities/Interventions for Neuropathy (TENS/Scrambler Therapy). Discussion topics to include patient selection, pre and post operative care, surgical considerations, evidence and patient outcomes.
